Passion Projects
This collection represents what pulls me toward design in the first place: bold visuals, thoughtful details, and the process of turning abstract ideas into something real. Each project reflects my willingness to explore, take risks, and grow creatively, shaping the designer I am today. Together, they showcase not just what I can make, but why I love making it.
Passion projects are where my excitement for design really comes to life. Free from guidelines or expectations, this work is driven by instinct, curiosity, and the ideas that genuinely inspire me in the moment. These projects allow me to experiment with new styles, techniques, and concepts, often starting with nothing more than a feeling, a visual reference, or a creative itch I can’t ignore.
Late Night Buzz
This piece started as an exploration of type as texture. I wanted the typography to feel loud but distant, like the low buzz you only seem to notice late at night. The grain and weight were intentional choices to capture that in-between state you feel after midnight, of overstimulated yet quiet, present but still drifting.
KATSEYE Tour - Kansas City
While in college, I was tasked to design band posters for imaginary groups in my Graphic Design class. It completely stalled my creativity. The style felt foreign, and designing for something I wasnt’t passionate about made it worse.
Revisiting the same project now, I approached it differently, with a real band, real inspiration, KATSEYE. I let the design breathe, embracing imperfection and movement. After all, band posters aren’t polished; they’re loud, expressive, and unapologetic.
Two Souls
This design leans into softness and imperfection. Playing with blur, light, and color to create an intimate sense of motion. Two forms overlapping, always reaching towards one another. This piece is less about readability and more about emotion.
